A while ago we did a post with our friends at Mountain Equipment Co-op about getting out and riding in the fall. For us cooler temps are a great time to challenge ourselves. They may require just a bit more motivation though to try to squeeze in a ride in those precious few daylight hours, especially when getting ready is just a bit more laborious with booties, gloves and arm warmers.
That all gets much easier though when you have a bit of ritual and some good friends to keep you going. Coffee and conversation are reason enough to get out there. Having a regular crew and a favourite cyclist friendly pit stop make all the difference. What motivates you to keep riding through the cold?
